The Storage Business Unit (SBU) is seeking a dynamic, results-driven analyst to help drive the annual business plan and other key activities within the business unit.  As a business planning analyst, you will harness SBU’s financial data, operational data, and business analytics to drive increased coordination and execution across SBU.  This role will require working collaboratively across various functions both within SBU and across Micron, managing various projects, turning data into information and the opportunity to learn across the various key roles within SBU.  A successful candidate will have a “can do attitude”, be a self-starter and willing to jump in and help the team in whatever capacity is needed.  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is critical.  This is a great opportunity to be involved in the strategy, marketing and reporting of one of the largest business units at Micron.

What you'll be doing:

  • Support development and implementation of annual business plans, processes, and procedures
  • Support Chief of Staff in managing of strategic projects and executive deliverables
  • Maintain project plan of upcoming business plan activities and aligns team to achieve plan
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement business strategy to meet SBUs objectives
  • Coordinate critical business unit information and updates on regular cadence
  • Create and maintains SharePoint to house business plan deliverables
  • Creates dashboards to support the business planning activities
  • Manage and maintain tracking of quarterly KPIs

Skills & Abilities:

  • Demonstrated strength in problem solving, strategy and analytics
  • Capable of driving insight to action through delivery of concise information
  • Strong customer focus and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Business acumen. Understands how key metrics drive a business
  • High level of competence with Microsoft Office suite (advanced PowerPoint skills and Microsoft Excel) is essential
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple highly visible projects

Requirements:

  • Strong business acumen and aptitude to understand the key business drivers
  • Strong creative and critical thinking, problem-solving, planning, time-management and organization skills to balance and prioritize work
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to cultivate relationships, facilitate alignment, and build partnerships with key stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, change management, planning and organizational management skills
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and reporting tools
  • SharePoint & Tableau (or other visualization tools) experience
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, statistics, economics, finance, engineering or comparable discipline.
  • 3 – 5-year experience in analytics or project management
