As Micron’s Assistant Treasurer, you will provide leadership to the Treasury group, serve as a trusted advisor to the Treasurer and senior management and maintain strategic perspective while driving improvements across team.  The Assistant Treasurer will focus on capital markets, liquidity planning, foreign exchange, cash management, investment management and short-term forecasting, with exposure to insurance and credit activities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of treasury professionals, driving performance and development while grooming high performers to be your successor
  • Serve as project manager for team to ensure successful and timely execution
  • Direct internal and external relationships, including banks and money managers
  • Oversee the Company’s liquidity position, including planning and execution of investment and borrowing strategies
  •  Oversee treasury management system (Kyriba) and ensure integrity and accuracy of cash flow forecast
  • Direct multi-billion dollar FX hedging program (cash flow and balance sheet hedging)
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain subsidiaries’ capital structures consistent with business, tax and regulatory requirements
  • Assist the Treasurer in projects and analysis, including senior management and Board recommendations and presentations

 

Requirements

  • CFA and/or MBA preferred
  • 10+ years Treasury and Finance experience at a Fortune 500 multinational company
  • Strategic thinker with drive to learn the business and industry dynamics
  • Ability to lead collaboratively across functional/organizational boundaries
  • Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
