Summary of Role and Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for achieving revenue / gross margin quarterly & yearly targets for assigned accounts
  • Responsible for maintaining a 3X unweighted rolling pipeline quarter on quarter
  • Must be results driven and have the ability to operate in a fast paced environment, with high levels of flexibility and dealing with ambiguity
  • Must be able to develop clearly written account plans and communicate needs and requirements for success on a quarterly and yearly basis
  • Work in conjunction with other Micron business units to drive and execute on sales plan
  • Develop strong relationships at all levels in assigned accounts (CXO, business  

    & IT level)

  • Develop a strong partner ecosystem with key vendors and partners
  • Reporting accurately on the business weekly (key activities, pipeline, & forecasting)

 

 

 

Requirements

 

  • Solid experience in storage array sales (All-Flash Array storage experience highly desirable)
  • Track record of achieving sales targets 
  • Good understanding of markets trends, key opportunities , the server & storage industry in general
  • Personal Attributes – Strong  drive for results, hunger, passion, and commitment   
  • Ability to formulate clear and crisp account plans to effectively execute 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, influencing, and presentation skills
  • Collaborate and influence other Micron business units to achieve desired results
  • Proven organisational and teaming skills
  • IT tertiary qualifications preferred - Degree or Diploma
